An indispensable contributor to PRE/3’s expanding portfolio, Executive Vice President Bob Murray applies over 25 years of real estate expertise to his direction of PRE/3’s acquisition, disposition, and development of multifamily communities across the greater Midwest.
Bob cultivated his skills and passion for the real estate industry as a commercial real estate salesperson during his education at UW-Milwaukee. Bob continued to refine these skills, earning experience in all facets of real estate, from financing to acquisition and development; prior to joining PRE/3, Bob served as the Executive Vice President of one of Wisconsin’s fastest-growing community banks.
Bob holds a degree in Financing and Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee School of Business. He resides in Madison, WI, with his wife Amy and their two daughters.
Leading Pre/3, Mr. Akin has more than 35 years of real estate experience developing us into the full service multifamily real estate investment company it is today.
Through steadfast adherence to high standards and business integrity, he has developed thousands of multifamily units, closed hundreds of transactions and provided opportunities for countless investors and residents.
With a degree in Business Administration and Finance and an impressive career as Assistant Vice President in Commercial Banking, Joshua was a welcomed addition to the Pre/3 family in 2016. His experience in underwriting and his expertise in analyzing commercial real estate transactions on the banking side made him well-equipped to take on the challenge of assessing risk and collateral, examining loan structure, and forecasting returns on commercial investments from the broker and owners’ perspectives. What attracted Joshua to Pre/3 is also what Pre/3 values in him. Joshua had admired how the owner and president had used their ambitious work ethic, strong relationships, and, above all, uncompromising integrity to build their personal real estate portfolios and the Pre/3 firm; and it is these same qualities that make Joshua an instrumental asset to the Pre/3 team.
With over 25 years of experience in property management, Kim Stair has demonstrated her expertise in market-rate, Section 8, LIHTC (Section 42), student, and senior housing. Kim’s introduction to the industry involved her single-handedly managing the daily operations of a 233-unit apartment community; her success in transforming the development’s reputation within the community lent itself to her work as a Community Housing Specialist, where she worked directly with HUD and WHEDA and cultivated her proficiency in every facet of the Section 8 and Section 42 housing programs. Following, Kim spent nine years as a Regional Manager in property management and seven years as Executive Director of Field Operations, before joining Pre/3 in 2017.
In addition to overseeing the management of over 2,500 apartment units, Kim is also charged with establishing newly developed and acquired properties, marketing and occupying them, and hiring and training their onsite teams. Kim’s Associate Degrees in Applied Science in Marketing and Applied Science in Fashion Merchandising from Western Technical College in La Crosse, WI aptly prepared her for her remodeling and rebranding responsibilities at Pre/3; she develops and works within a budget to rehabilitate and restore properties into attractive, reputable communities. Kim is unmatched in her ability to form apartment communities that are desirable to residents and profitable to investors.
Especially energetic, inventive, and creative, Kim has produced and implemented successful on-site training programs, manuals, conferences, and policies and procedures for her colleagues, and serves as an influential mentor and means of support to the entire Pre/3 management team.
Brenda has had a hand in PRE/3’s growth since 1985, first as a member of an independent firm that worked with PRE/3, and then as a member of the PRE/3 firm when she was employed full time in 1998. With expertise in payroll, human resources, and financial reporting in the payroll, sales and use tax, franchise, occupational and income tax space, she is involved with a variety of transactions and activities.
Brenda has a BS degree in Accounting from Carroll University. She earned her CPA title in 1990 and is a member of the National Society of Accountants. She is also an active volunteer with the Girl Scouts and at her church.
With more than 33 years in the property management business, Casey brings a unique combination of practical business knowledge and real estate management expertise to PRE/3. Since joining the firm as Vice President in 1996 and assuming the role of President in 2009, he’s been an integral key to the firm’s success. He is now responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the twelve Regional Property Managers whom PRE/3 employs throughout the portfolio.
Mr. Duffey graduated with high honors from the Madison Area Technical College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Real Estate. He also holds the following licenses and accreditations:
Ron has more than 20 years of experience in property management and oversees 4,000 units that employ more than 250 individuals. His Fair Housing expertise and familiarity with LIHTC (Section 42), Senior, and Market Rate property types is unparalleled in the industry, making him a sought after subject matter in the firm. Ron excels at bringing extensive renovation projects in on time and within budget. As such, he is a critical member of the asset management team.
Ron has a BS degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He’s also an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM). Ron has been with PRE/3 since 2006.
Nancy has been moving up through the PRE/3 ranks since she began her career here 17 years ago assisting with move-outs. Since then, she has proven herself a versatile and resourceful asset who’s as comfortable overseeing the office staff as she is jumping in to assist wherever help is needed.
Nancy has a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She also brings 21 years of prior accounting experience to her current position.
Since 1990 Jane has been a guiding and steady resource at PRE/3, where she currently supports a variety of initiatives in the role of Accounting Manager. She holds a BS degree in Mathematics and Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and received her ARM and IREM in 2001 while serving as a regional manager for PRE/3’s West Bend and Germantown properties.
A civic-minded leader, Jane is a 20-year volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and has also volunteered with the Sussex Food Pantry and other charitable organizations.
