We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations across a multi-site residential portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and taking pride in keeping apartment homes safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents.
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be a key part of the on-site team—responding to service requests, performing preventative maintenance, supporting capital projects, and contributing to a positive living experience for our residents.
Duties to Include:
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Complete work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, and assigned projects efficiently and with attention to quality.
• Assist with capital improvement projects and unit turns as needed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency maintenance situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs completed, inspections, and materials used.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and applicable local and state building codes.
• Communicate effectively with property manager and residents to support daily operations and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Perform snow removal duties, including shoveling, applying ice melt, and keeping walkways and entrances safe during winter months.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience; multi-site experience preferred but not required.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Plumbing
• HVAC systems
• Electrical systems
• General carpentry
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required; must be able to travel between properties.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling, and repetitive use of arms, hands, legs, and feet. The role may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions, operation of mechanical equipment and machinery, and the ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
